Stash AI Money Coach - Alpha Program Terms and Conditions

Effective February 5th, 2024 (the “Effective Date”), when you receive an invitation to participate in this beta program (as defined below) directly from Stash Financial, Inc. or its affiliates (collectively known as “Stash”) and complete the eligibility steps outlined below, you will be eligible to participate in this product testing beta program (as described below) launched for internal research purposes (referred to hereunder as “Program”).

Program Description:

Stash’s AI Money Coach is a chatbot feature operated by Stash and leverages a large language model to help generate responses related to general financing questions and service-related inquiries (referred to hereunder as “Coach”). By accessing or using Coach, you agree to these Program Terms and Conditions (these “Terms”). If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using Coach. These Terms are supplemental to Stash’s Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) and Stash’s Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”). These terms of use and Privacy Policy are hereby incorporated herein by reference with the same force and effect as though fully set forth herein. While Coach’s responses are generated to the best of our ability, we cannot guarantee their accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness for any specific purpose. By accessing or using Coach, you understand that Stash utilizes a non-affiliated third party, OpenAI, to help operate Coach. For further information, please refer to OpenAI’s Privacy Policy at https://openai.com/api-data-privacy (OpenAI Terms”).

Eligibility:

To participate in this Program, you must receive an invitation to participate directly from Stash and have a Stash account in good standing.

Other Information:

By participating in this Program, you agree and understand that Coach may process your personal financial data, including, but not limited to, transaction history, banking activity, and portfolio activity, from any of your accounts at Stash to assist with chatbot responses. You understand that Coach is developed using (1) information that is publicly available on the internet, (2) information that we license from third parties, and (3) information that our users provide, which we may use to help train the Model. Any response generated through Coach should not be construed as tax, or legal advice and is intended for informational and educational purposes only. All information may be recorded for record-keeping purposes. If you have any specific questions about your accounts offered through Stash, please contact Stash’s customer service directly. Any investment advice delivered through Coach is intended for Stash customers only and should not be used for non-Stash customers. All responses generated through Coach are only intended for your personal use, and account information (e.g., login, credentials, etc.) should not be accessed or used by anyone other than yourself, nor should you input any information related to another person into Coach. The purpose of providing this Program is to conduct internal research on potentially offering a new feature and or service to Stash clients. Therefore, Stash may disable, pause, or terminate Coach at any time, upon Stash’s sole discretion and without prior notice. Stash is under no obligation to offer Coach in the future.

If, for any reason, this Program is not capable of running as planned, whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Stash which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Program, Stash reserves the right in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with this Program, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Program. Stash assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, this Program. Stash is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Stash on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in this Program.
